New ANC website puts travelers first

December 10, 2020

(Anchorage) – The Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) has launched a new website (www.ancairport.com) featuring a mobile-first design to help travelers quickly and easily access information while on the go. The homepage features a flight-search tool allowing anyone to check the status of incoming and outgoing passenger flights – especially useful for travelers departing and those picking up at ANC.

“Our previous site had good information, but wasn’t optimized with the traveler in mind,” said Jim Szczesniak, ANC airport manager. “Not only does the new site put the mobile experience first, it also serves as the front end of our new ANC brand.”

On the new site, travelers will also be able to quickly check dining options and travel regulations and learn more about the additional sanitation precautions in place to support public health and safety.

To supplement traveler information, the new website also includes an “About Us” section for things like airport updates and press releases, and a new “Business” section, which caters to ANC’s current and prospective business partners.

“Site launch is just the first step,” said Szczesniak. “We intend to continue adding information and features to support business development efforts moving forward. If a company is vetting us as a prospective location for development, we want to do everything we can to give them the information they need right up front when they come looking.”
