Nonresidents who arrive without evidence of testing within 72 hours of travel will be required to test upon arrival and self-quarantine until negative test results are provided. The fee for the test is $250 and it is paid for through the Alaska Travel Portal.
Alaska residents who didn’t pretest before travel may opt to participate in free testing upon arrival, OR self-quarantine for 14 days without any testing requirement. Residents who test will only be required to self-quarantine until negative test results are uploaded to the Alaska Travel Portal.
COVID-19 testing is located on Level 1 near Alaska Airlines Baggage Claim. You’ll need to preregister for a test through the ANC COVID-19 Testing Portal.
You will receive your test results at the email address you provided, and a text message if you provided a mobile phone number. Test results arrive in 24 – 72 hours—remember to check your junk or spam folder!
